Our Pipeline
Platform Technology Enables 4+ Adjacent Indications
Because the underlying DuraGraft mechanism targets a fundamental biological
vulnerability — oxidative stress and endothelial injury during periods of ischemia —
rather than a single surgical application, Marizyme views DuraGraft as the foundation of
a broader technology platform rather than a standalone product. This positions the
platform for potential expansion into additional graft-based and tissue-preservation
applications beyond CABG, including other vascular and surgical contexts where
ischemic injury during ex vivo handling compromises long-term outcomes.
The Company continues to invest in research to evaluate additional indications and
applications for this platform, with the goal of extending the benefits demonstrated in
CABG to a wider range of surgical and transplantation settings surrounding:

Our initial focus is on the kidney transplant market and with a clear pathway to expand into liver and heart transplants.

At the heart of the DuraGraft platform is a simple conviction: outcomes shouldn’t be left to chance during the moments a graft is most vulnerable. By protecting vascular tissue at the cellular level from the very first minutes after harvest, our goal is to ensure that patients undergoing bypass surgery have the best possible chance at a durable , lasting repair, reducing the risk of repeat procedures, additional interventions, and the physical and emotional toll that graft failure can bring.
As we continue to explore new applications for this platform, our objective remains the same: to protect tissue integrity wherever ischemic injury threatens a patient’s recovery, so that more patients across more procedures can experience better outcomes, fewer complications, and a stronger path forward.
